Is my data private?
Yes. Your journal, cravings, mood, quit date, and cycle information are stored only on your device. Darling has no accounts, no ads, and no third-party tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How does cycle tracking work?
Darling estimates your current cycle phase from your last period date and average cycle length, then tailors craving tips to that phase. You can enter your last period manually in Settings, or sync it from Android Health Connect. Cycle features are completely optional.
Do I need Health Connect?
No. Health Connect is just one convenient way to sync your period date. You can enter it manually instead, or skip cycle features entirely. If you do connect it, that data is used only on your device and is never sent anywhere.
How do I change my quit date?
Open Settings (the profile icon, top right) → Quit Journey → Change Quit Date. You can set both the date and the exact time you quit.
What does Premium include?
Premium unlocks your full healing timeline (every milestone from two weeks to twenty years) and cycle-aware craving tracking, among other extras. The first 72 hours of the timeline and the core tools are free.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. To cancel or manage one, open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Darling. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the current period ends.
I subscribed but Premium isn't showing — what do I do?
Open Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Google account you used to subscribe. Still stuck? Email us and we'll help.
How do I delete my data?
Because everything is stored locally, you're in control. Use Log out in Settings to clear your profile, or uninstall the app to remove everything. Health Connect data can be managed in the Health Connect app.
